Finance and Administrative Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant and Admin to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks, along with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance Duties:

  1. Maintain financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
  2. Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
  3. Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
  4. Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  5. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  6. Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  7. Support tax filing and audit processes.
  8. Ensure compliance with local financial laws and company policies.

Administrative Duties:

  1. Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions.
  2. Manage correspondence, emails, and phone calls professionally.
  3. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  4. Handle employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  5. Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives.
  6. Assist with document preparation, filing, and data entry.
  7. Ensure a well-organized and efficient office environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles (minimum 3-5 years).
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  4. Strong understanding of financial regulations, bookkeeping, and reporting.
  5. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a corporate or SME environment.
